Our valued client is actively searching outstanding individuals to join their organisation as a Maintenance Supervisor (08/0166)
Requirements:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent with at least 10 years experiences in oil and gas production with supervision background
- Has good knowledge of oil and gas production operations, generator gas compression, rotating equipment
- Has a solid understanding of computer based maintenance control systems
- Understands predictive maintenance processes and is able to implement same
- Has good knowledge of other vocations EG; Electrical / Instrument
- Mastering English language oral and written
- Has ability to lead a team
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all planning an implementation of all routine and corrective maintenance activities ensuring safe and efficient work practice. Provide technical advice of specific technical aspects pertinent to the maintenance of platform systems and equipment
- Ensure immediate corrective action is taken to maximise production availability with the constraint on safety and take whatever executive action is necessary to achieve this
- Co-ordinate closely with the Production Supervisor to carefully plan, and interface maintenance activities related to production equipment and essential services ensure optimum timing and minimal impact on achieving daily production targets
- Motivate and promote adequate supervision and the training development of the national maintenance team. Ensure records are kept and learning material is valid. Encouraging Nationals and advise what they can achieve. Assess the training needs
