Our valued client is actively searching outstanding individuals to join their organisation as a Senior Accountant (10/0042)
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting of a mining company preferably
- Has 5 years of experience in a managerial role
- Possesses Leadership skills
- Preferably female, max. 40 years old
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the periodic planning, forecast and budgeting processes for the business
- Coordinates the preparation of monthly management reports and business analysis to support decision making by Senior Management
- Establishes appropriate financial controls, processes and systems
- Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data
- Ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting and reporting standards
- Provides strategic financial management and leadership for the business
- Develops and coordinates the implementation of financial performance targets
- Manages tax issues and ensures compliance with tax regulations
- Manages financial risks for the company
- Provides budgetary decisions to management
- Coordinates the implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Analyses new business opportunities and capital investments and offer recommendations to Senior Management
