Our valued client is actively searching outstanding individuals to join their organisation as a Maintenance Superintendent (11/9047)

Requirements :

  • Min. Diploma Degree
  • 8 years experiences in Excavator maintenance, (Liebherr preferred, but Hitachi, O&K acceptable)
  • Experience in Haul Truck Maintenance 100t and up class
  • Dozer, Grader, support equipment
  • Site management and maintenance cost awareness
  • Willing to develop and train subordinates
  • Overseas experience preferable but not mandatory, however cultural awareness is expected
  • Is responsible for all safety of the WS crew
  • Good analytical skills

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and develop weekly, monthly and shutdown schedules, liaise with Maintenance planner for inclusion in the BMP plans by the Senior Mining Engineer.
  • Monitor and control the implementation of short term detailed mine execution plans using the BMP process and provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis in order to enable short term control in achieving long term mine plan.
  • Control and supervise maintenance personnel including monitor their performance and provide development plan in order to provide leadership in maintenance activities.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance, investigate all variances from target and liaise with Maintenance Planner in order to prevent catastrophic failure and maintenance is performed in the BMP cost effective manner.
  • Monitor and control maintenance event to ensure maintenance events are subject to a root cause analysis and this information is recorded at work order closing time.
  • Monitor and control inventory stock levels to ensure stock levels to ensure stock reflects usage requirements and no unnecessary or excessive stock holdings occur.
  • Identify and analyze hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages, record all accident events and cost in Avantis in order to assist the Maintenance Planner in term of minimize exposure to personnel and the environment.
  • Implement and adhere all safety procedures, rules and regulations and statutory regulation in accordance with the Safety Management Plan, in order to prevent Lost Time Injuries
