Our client- an EPC company currently is looking for potential candidate with high exposure in drilling industry to fill in the position as listed below:
Responsibility :
Technical
- Display excellent technical understanding of rig operation and its system
- Ensure necessary drilling support plans and services are suitable, delivered in a timely fashion, and being adhered to during operations
- Manage the activity of the drilling department to ensure alignment with business and client needs
- Responsible for operational procedures, ensuring these all conform to safety standards and regulations
- Manage daily drilling, production, and operations for an organization
- Manage the planning and execution of drilling and maintenance program
- Manage the proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Plan and develop revisions or enhancements to solve and troubleshoot drilling problems
Commercial
- Develop business and marketing strategy
- Identify business development opportunities
- Maintain a good commercial awareness of main competitors' products and technology
- Develop and manage a profitable market position for drilling services
- Develop and oversee operating budget
- Manage budget and control costs
- Organize tender submission process to client (data compilation, site visit, pre bid meetings, budget coordination)
Requirement :
- Minimum 20 years work experience in the drilling industry
- Drilling management experience, preferably in land rig operation
- Excellent understanding of rig system/ technology
- Experience of working for the Drilling Contractor
- Experience as a Rig Manager/ Operation Manager/ Drilling Superintedent
